Die 64bit-EFI-Firmware wird gesteuert über das Lenovo Setup Utility (). Dieses Programm wird gestartet durch Betätigen von <F2>, sobald das Lenovo-Logo sichtbar wird.

Linbo-Start zur Ersteinrichtung
Das Netbook hat keine LAN-Schnittstelle, daher erfolgt die Ersteinrichtung über einen der PXE-USB-LAN-Adapter (schwarzes Schild am Kabel) von der Firma Dell. Das Netbook kann über diesen Adapter einen PXE-Start über das Netzwerk ausführen. Die Einrichtung funktioniert wie bei Netbooks mit LAN-Schnittstelle.
